London massage and movement was founded by Joe Brown and his desire to achieving results in optimum movement and performance. He has developed a highly qualified and successful team that share his same passions in getting you pain free and performing at your bodies full potential, and getting the results you have always wanted.
Joe began his entry into fitness industry from a sporting background playing both football and rugby at high levels. He started in 2005 by learning his trade as a personal trainer, gaining experience and more importantly learning how to get results. He mastered his trade and won’t stop there…. continually perfecting his skill set with further learning.

Piriformis syndrome is a condition in which the piriformis muscle, located in the middle of the glute region, spasms and causes pain. The piriformis muscle can irritate the sciatic nerve and cause pain, numbness and tingling along the back of the leg and into the foot (similar to sciatic pain).
Here we tested the range of motion and had a huge difference between the two sides as you can see in the photo. This has impacted the overall gate and movement mechanics, creating a knock on effect leading to foot pain, knee pain and pain during squat based movements (hip shift).
After 60mins of soft tissue release and MET (muscle energy techniques) to the glute and hamstring we have restored range of movement so my client is back balanced and pain free!

Supplements are essential for our wellness and for our body, they help with sleep, muscle recovery, immune system and guts.
My go to supplements for WELLNESS:
Vitamin D (2000- 4000IU) PER DAY : Helps to regulate the absorption of calcium and phosphorus and facilitates a normal immune system.
Magnesium (choose citrate or malate and avoid oxides as the body finds it harder to absorb). Plays an important role in breaking down fats and carbs to produce energy, maintaining a healthy nervous system and recovery from exercise. Low levels are linked to high blood pressure, poor blood glucose control, and increased risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Take 250-350mg with food.
Curcumin (400mg making sure you use with piperine or black pepper extract to aid absorption) anti inflammatory and antioxidant properties which can help with cortisol reduction, help reduce in muscular fatigue, and aid in repairing damage.
Glutamine (10-15g per day), huge benefits to helping the regulation of the gut. Plays an important role in protein synthesis and muscle maintenance, as well as increasing natural hormone levels and promoting a healthy immune system.
Probiotic (aim for minimum 20 billion live organisms): promotes a healthy balance of gut bacteria to aid absorption of nutrients. Aids in an active and healthy digestive system, also linked to proving your overall immune system & weight loss.
Multivitamin: A good multivitamin to help with everyday functions and immune system. Used to provide the body with vitamins that aren’t generally absorbed from diet and help bridge the gap of recommended nutrient amounts. Use like an insurance policy so that you are fully covered.
